Your records
Trackers, entries, notes, rates and reminders are stored on your device. You can use Sumday without an account. Your operating system may include these local records in device backup or transfer according to your system settings, even without a Sumday account. From version 1.1.1, Android sign-in credentials are excluded from that transfer. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Optional backup
Signing in enables backup and sync through Supabase. We store your account identifier, email address and the records you choose to sync so you can restore them on your devices. iPhone sign-in uses Apple; Android sign-in uses Google. We do not receive your password. Apple may provide a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. Records are not sold or used for advertising.
Optional voice input
The microphone starts only when you choose it. Your operating system transcribes speech; depending on device support, Apple or Google may process audio on their servers under their own privacy policies. Sumday does not store audio or send it to our backup server. Typed quick log avoids speech processing. Text parsing and supported Apple Intelligence assistance run on your device.
Sharing and exports
Exports are created on your device and shared only to the destination you choose. That destination's privacy practices apply to the exported copy.
Updates and earlier versions
Sumday checks Expo for compatible app updates. Version 1.1 and later have no purchases or RevenueCat SDK. Earlier releases may still contact RevenueCat to check a lifetime purchase until you update. Those checks do not include tracker contents.
Delete your account
In Settings → Backup → Delete account, you can delete your server account and synced records. The local copy stays on your phone. You can also request account deletion by email. Deleting an account does not delete exports you have shared elsewhere.
